ITINERARY

Day 1: Cuzco
Arrive at any time. Included arrival transfer to your hotel.

Overnight at Aranjuez Hotel

Days 2-3: Volunteer with Children
Spend mornings and afternoons volunteering at a drop-in center for children supported by Planeterra and STA Travel. Play games, help with homework, teach English, help with the cooking and participate in various workshops such as leather working and jewellery making (intermediate Spanish required).

Overnight at Aranjuez Hotel

Days 4-5: Cuzco
Enjoy a Guided City Tour on Day 3. Day 4 for is free to Explore the city. There are several good museums in Cuzco, including the Archaeological Museum, which also houses a small art museum, the Regional History Museum and the Religious Art Museum. Our best advice for exploring Cuzco is to wear a comfortable pair of shoes, arm yourself with a city map and set off to explore!

Overnight at Aranjuez Hotel

Day 6: Aguas Calientes (B)
Board a morning train that winds through the spectacular Urubamba Valley to the end of the line: the village of Aguas Calientes, a frontier town nestled in the hills beneath Machu Picchu. Free time to relax and explore the town.

Overnight at Pachacutek Hotel

Day 7: Machu Picchu/Cuzco (B)
Travel by early morning bus for a guided tour of the inspiring Machu Picchu ruins. Return to Cuzco in the late afternoon and transfer to your hotel for the night.

Overnight at Aranjuez Hotel

Day 8: Cuzco (B)
Include transfer to airport. Depart at any time.
